SATIE.150 A celebration in the shape of an umbrella Joana Gama, piano In 2016, with the support of Antena 2, Joana Gama dedicated herself to SATIE.150 - A celebration in the shape of an umbrella, which marked in Portugal the 150th anniversary of the birth of the French composer Erik Satie (1866-1925) . What began as a tour of 12 concerts - 1 per month - in 12 Portuguese locations, ended up gaining a greater proportion. In this context, in addition to the recitals, she gave lectures in schools and coordinated the book "Embryons dessechés", a special edition of Satie's homonymous score, released by Pianola Editores on the day of the composer's birthday. On July 8th, she performed an uninterrupted 15-hour performance of Erik Satie's "Vexations" at the Jardins Efémeros Festival in Viseu. In December he released the album HARMONIES (Shhpuma), a project shared with Luis Fernandes in electronics and Ricardo Jacinto on the cello, inspired by the music and fantastic universe of Erik Satie, which concert was presented in Portugal, Spain, Scotland and Germany. In 2017, the pianist releases the album SATIE.150 album, an edition supported by GDA, again with the label of Pianola Editores.
